Questions
Why is the price different in my country?
We set Pro for each country based on local prices, so it costs about the same share of a budget everywhere. You see the price for the country you're in.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If Pro doesn't work for you, ask within 7 days of paying and we refund you in full.
How can I pay?
With a debit or credit card. Taxes depend on your country and may be added at checkout.
Do you keep my files?
Uploaded files are deleted automatically within 12 hours. Your transcripts are yours: delete one, a whole session, or everything at any time — deletion takes effect immediately.
Do you use my data to train AI?
No. TranscriptX does not use your files or transcripts to train models.
What happens if I run out of credits in the middle of a file?
The file still finishes. You see the beginning, and the rest opens when you sign in (if you're a guest) or go Pro. Nothing is lost and you don't have to run it again. It also opens by itself when your credits reset.
What is a credit?
1 credit = 1 minute of audio. Your credits reset every day at 00:00 UTC.
What's the difference between Guest and Free?
Both are free. Signing in gives you more credits each day and keeps your history forever, on every device.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, in one click from your account menu. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and your transcripts stay yours.
